Pillar 01 · How Christ shapes a life

Individual
Formation.

A small group of 6 to 10 believers, meeting in real places over 12 to 18 months, walking together through what it looks like for faith to reach all of life. Belief becomes practice. Sunday becomes Tuesday.

In a sentence:

What "Formation" means here A small group of believers who already share a working life or industry. They meet regularly for a year or more to grow together in how they live out their faith, with a trained Dromos leader walking them through it.

No retreats only. No content only. No lectures only. Formation happens in real, sustained relationships over time, in the actual places people live and work.

What we actually do.

Every cohort runs on four repeating rhythms. Together they create the conditions in which the Holy Spirit forms a person over time.

Rhythm 01
Word

Honest engagement with Scripture, in community. Not "Bible study" as performance. Reading, wrestling, applying, together, weekly.

Rhythm 02
Practice

Repeatable disciplines that retrain a life. Prayer, fasting, Sabbath, generosity, confession. Small, sustained, embodied.

Rhythm 03
Table

Real meals. Real conversations. The kind of friendship where people actually know each other's marriages, money, and Mondays.

Rhythm 04
Work

Where the rubber meets the road. We apply what we're learning to the place we actually spend most of our hours.

Twelve to eighteen months.

A long enough run to actually change. Short enough to finish. Here is the shape of it.

Month 01
Gather & groundMeet the cohort. Cast vision. Establish covenant — what we'll do, how we'll show up for each other, what we will not tolerate.
Months 02–04
Discover the courseThe first three movements of The Way. Each person names the dromos they have been given. Honest audit of the walk so far.
Months 05–09
Practice the wayRepeating rhythms become real. Disciplines stick or get diagnosed honestly. Real friendships form. The work begins to reshape the workdays.
Months 10–14
Integrate & embodyFaith and work, Sunday and Tuesday, public and private begin moving toward becoming one. Each member identifies their specific station and how they will steward it.
Months 15–18
Send & sustainThe cohort closes. Each person is commissioned back to their environment. Some return as Dromos leaders. All return with a rule of life and a community.

Is this for you?

This is probably you if —

  • You are a committed Christian and an active member of a local church.
  • You can name the gap between what you believe on Sunday and how you actually lead on Tuesday.
  • You hold genuine influence: over a team, a roster, a gym floor, a company, a roomful of people.
  • You are willing to commit a year, weekly, to a small group of peers, and to be honest with them.

This is not for you if…

  • You are looking for a class or a curriculum to consume on your own time.
  • You are not currently engaged in a local church and have no plans to be.
  • You cannot commit to weekly meetings and the practice between them.
  • You are exploring Christianity for the first time. We will gladly point you to a better starting place.
